DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi – Muong Waterfall
The first day of this motorbike tour in Vietnam is a difficult but so exciting start to be out of Hanoi chaotic traffics and head to the Northwest mountainous region. It’s such a beautiful day to ride through jungle, cross river and sometimes in stream bed. After the first hard day, you have a chance to sink in the cool waterfall in National Reserve Park and stay with local in stilt house near dreamlike spring.

Day 2: Muong Waterfall – Moc Chau Plateau
Wake up in the early morning with babble of brook and sound of births everywhere. We will be on the saddle again to pass 50km dirt-road before lunch time at the valley Mai Chau where located by White Thai people. Leaving Mai Chau, we will continue riding on the road of the old National Highway No.6, it used to be a North West main road in the ‘80s and has been forgotten for several years. After 50km dirt-road along Da River, the next stop is Moc Chau plateau and overnight there.

Day 3: Moc Chau Plateau – It Ong Town
It’s an exciting day waiting for you ahead. After breakfast we’ll travel around Moc chau highland to wallow in its beautiful nature. Then get out the main road we will turn off the path, which will make you extremely excited with gravel stone, mud, sheer cliffs, deep abyss, spring buffalo wallow in mires along the path… the route will go through Tan Su where reside by Black H’mong tribe. The second day of this motorbike tour in Vietnam will be the time for you to do some exercises and show your riding skill with 100% off-road. In the evening, we will have a rest in It Ong town after an active day.

Day 4: It Ong Town – Mu Cang Chai Terraced Rice Fields
Pray to the God for the weather to coordinating at least one week before we embark on these roads. With the distance of only 140km but 90% off-road, today is for sure, a long day and also a real challenge to all riders. All time you have to overcome dangerous long streams, steep slopes, and too slippery with mud, and stone in the jungle. With great effort of all riders, hope that we will reach Mu Cang Chai terraced fields before dark.

Day 5: Mu Cang Chai Terraced Rice Fields – Sapa
After 4 days of conquering hard terrain, today will be an easy day for you to recover yourself. The not long but steep and winding with exotic natural scene road from Mu Cang Chai to Sapa will stop your wheels at any time for the beautiful picture shoots. After lunch, you will feel the temperature changes suddenly when passing O Qui Ho, the highest pass in Vietnam which connects Lai Chau province and Lao Cai province.

Day 6: Sapa – Xin Man Town
From Sapa, we will ride down to Bac Ha, which is very famous for the traditional markets and horse racing arena held annually in the spring. If you come here on the right day, you will be immersed in the colourful highland markets such as Can Cau market on every Saturday, Bac Ha market on every Sunday.
After having lunch in Bac Ha town, we will ride deep into the remote villages which lie along the boundary with 30km on dirt, rocky roads and steep hill to reach Xin Man town.

Day 7: Xin Man Town – Ha Giang
Today will be the day of challenge.
Wake up in the early morning to enjoy the unique flavor of a highland town which is only apart from China by Tay Con Linh range – the roof of Northeast.
After breakfast, the steep road with full of challenges ahead will take us to the top of Chau Lau Thi where all year-round covered by fog and cold winds. The weather will be warmer when you ride down hill to ride through Suoi Thau, U Bo to return the provincial road No. 178 before riding to the highway No. 2 which leads to Ha Giang city.
Overnight in home-stay of the Tay people, about 5km from Ha Giang city.

Day 8: Ha Giang – Dong Van
The day of the winding passes on the rugged mountains is waiting for you ahead. If you love sightseeing tour, it is a great day for this place is considered as the Himalaya range of Northeast Vietnam. However, to discover this land on our Vietnam motorbike tour, especially with all riders, who love adventure, choosing to follow the muddy and slippery road along the border belt is not a bad idea. When you ride on this road, you will see the small houses of the H’mong, Dao, Lo Lo on the high mountains. Stop to drink a cup of cooking water which is taken from the rare small slit running down from the mountain. Water here is very rare, even no rain in a year. Someone said that just cling and survive on this land are considered as heroes. You will have your own feelings, I bet so.

Day 9: Dong Van – Bao Lac
In the morning, we will take a short walk around Dong Van Ancient Street and Rocky Market to contemplate about the old style architecture here then get a cup of coffee beside that to enjoy the hidden beauty of the little township.
Today, still winding roads running along the rocky peaks, but the climate, scenery and people are changed step by step. From Dong Van, we take a short ride to Meo Vac market via Ma Pi Leng pass where rider can look down on Nho Que river at impressive view point called edge of Tu San abyss. After crossing Nho Que river at noon on the bamboo raft with capstan, riders will face the ride with 30km dirt-road beside river bank to get to hotel before dark.

Day 10: Bao Lac – Ba Be
A short ride with 100km in which 35km dirt-road, today will be a day of crossing river, through villages and spending time to exchange with local. However, we try together to have lunch at home-stay point before 12:00am then getting on boat for Ba Be Lake in the afternoon. Swimming, rowing or just relaxing are the best ways to finish the beautiful day. Enjoy the night in village nearby one of the biggest mountainous lake in North Vietnam that can make you understand more about the daily life and culture of hill tribes in Vietnam.

Day 11: Ba Be – Hanoi
The last day of the 11 days motorbike tour in north Vietnam comes, say goodbye to the high mountain land, we again join into the crowd to ride towards the Red river Delta. Soil, dust, noisy, pollution will be gradually replaced the deserted roads, the foggy villages. Be careful, your steering wheel is still not familiar with the crowded streets.
